2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany ("host"). When you open a page, your browser automatically transmits data to the host's server, which records it in server log files: the IP address of the requesting device, date and time of the request, time zone difference to GMT, the requested file, the access status (HTTP status code), the amount of data transferred, the referring website (referrer) and the browser type, operating system and language your browser reports.
Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technical delivery of the website, the stability and security of the server and the detection of attacks. Log files are deleted automatically by the host after a short rotation period, at the latest when they are no longer needed for the purposes named above; longer storage occurs only where a specific attack has to be investigated. The exact rotation period is set in the hosting account and stated here once confirmed by the host. 3. No cookies, no tracking, no advertising
This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics service, no tag manager, no pixel, no font service, no comment system and no newsletter form. No advertising is shown and no affiliate links are used. No data is transmitted to third parties when a page loads.
4. Settings stored in your browser (localStorage and sessionStorage)
The terminal interface can remember settings you choose: whether sound is on or off, the color mode (green or amber), whether the status bar is hidden, whether the code rain is switched off, whether single-key shortcuts are switched off, which of the sectors you have already visited (the progress counter in the status bar, including the note that the "full access" screen was shown once), and whether the intro sequence has been shown in this browser session. Nothing is written until you change a setting or open a sector; default settings are not stored. The keys used are ksaf.sound, ksaf.mode, ksaf.hud, ksaf.rain, ksaf.keys, ksaf.visited, ksaf.full (localStorage) and ksaf.gate (sessionStorage). These values are written to your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage on your own device. They are not transmitted to us or to anyone else, they contain no identifier, and the site works fully without them (for example in a private window or with storage disabled).
Storing information on your device that is strictly necessary to provide a function you have expressly requested does not require consent (§ 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete these values at any time by clearing the site data for ksafme.com in your browser.
5. Content loaded from third parties only after your click (two-click solution)
Google Maps. The city guides offer an interactive map. It is not loaded when the page opens. Only when you press the button "Show interactive map" does your browser connect to Google and load the map. From that moment Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, processes your IP address and technical browser data and may set cookies in your browser; a transfer to Google LLC in the United States cannot be excluded. Legal basis for loading the map is your consent given by the click (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, § 25 para. 1 TDDDG); you can withdraw it by reloading the page. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
External nodes. Any other third-party service (Substack, an external links page, Instagram, Google Maps place links, Google Books, Wikimedia Commons) is reached exclusively through a plain link marked EXTERNAL. Nothing is loaded from those services while you read this site. When you follow such a link, the privacy notice of that provider applies.
6. Contact by e-mail
If you write to us by e-mail, we process the data you send (your address, the content of your message) to answer you. Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR where the contact concerns a contract, otherwise Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (our interest in answering enquiries). The correspondence is deleted once the matter is settled and no statutory retention duty applies.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (Art. 21). Please address requests to the controller named in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, https://www.lda.bayern.de.
8. Recipients and transfers
Apart from the host named in section 2, no recipients receive personal data from this website. No data is transferred to third countries by us. Third-country transfers can only occur through services you actively open by clicking (section 5).
